Wedding Ceremony
The
sun was shining and the birds were singing on our wedding day. August
6th, 2011 was perfect in almost every way imaginable. Not only did
friend and family come out to support us, I married the man of my
dreams. Kit is one of the nicest, most kindhearted, witty, smart and
thoughtful men I have ever known. We both feel so lucky to have found
each other, and I cannot imagine life without him. I will always look
back on this day with love. We also think of our wedding as day as the
start of our family. I have enjoyed every day with him since, and am so
proud to be his wife! Here is a reading for our wedding:
"Climb the mountains and get their good tidings, Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. As age comes on, one source of enjoyment after another is closed, but nature's sources never fail"
It was a beautiful sentiment to share with our loved ones. As Kit and I grow into ourselves, our careers, our lives together, and eventually into a family, we will always know where our love began, and where our common bond lies. We both wanted this quote read because no matter what is going on in our lives, we have somewhere to go together that brings us happiness. Material things, money, they do not ultimately matter. Our love for each other does. How we treat each other does. When I first met Kit, I was enthralled by his passion for the mountains. To this day I have never met anyone who loves being up there as much as he does, and I will always be grateful that we met that fateful night at Woody's Wharf!
